Report on Cancer Awareness Program- United by Unique

REPORT

The Department of Biochemistry students actively participated in the World Cancer Day-2026, Cancer Awareness Program on the Theme “United by Unique” on 4^th February, 2026 organized by the Department of Life Sciences (Biochemistry and Bioinformatics) of GITAM School of Science, Visakhapatnam.

As per the brochure, several competitions were conducted, and our students have attended the oral presentations organized at the venue.

Miss Rispa Grace (25AM 718) and Miss P. Sharmila (25AM725) presented paper on People- Centered Approach to Cancer Care and Miss Subhasree Panda (AM722) and Miss B. Anishma (25AM711) who presented in Modern Approach and treatment of cancer.

Both the presenters received best paper awards. Miss Grace and Miss Sharmila won first prize while Miss Subhasree and Miss Anishma won second prize for their presentations.
