REPORT

The Department of Biochemistry in collaboration with Lee Health Domain, a leading Nutraceutical company that specializes in the production of high- quality health and food supplements have organized Health camp for women as a part of their project- Project Smooth walk on 17th February 2024. It is included  NFPE (Nutrition Focused Physical Examination), that included important vitals checkup which are important for women above 25 years. Lee Health Domain provided dietary recommendation for all the 150 registered women. The health camp was inaugurated by the college principal Dr.Sr. Shyji PD who appreciated the initiative taken up by Lee Pharma. Dr PK Jayalakshmi, Dr Manikya Kumari, Dr Anupama, Dr Mousami, Sr. Hema, Sr Mary, Sr Daisy, Sr Dipali and many faculties have visited the health camp. Mrs Leela Rani mam Alla, the Director of Leela pharma has visited the camp and appreciated the cooperation and management and volunteers efforts. Mrs Sarojini and Ms G. Jayalakshmi are the camp coordinators. Ms T. Lavanya is the Chief Nutritionalist of Lee pharma and the entire team did the following tests- Antropometric measurements (height , weight), BMD (Bone mineral density), Waist and Hip circumference, WHR ratio, Hand grip strength, Consultation by nutritionalist.
