REPORT ON EARTH DAY

Earth day is observed on 22nd April, 2021. On this day people were asked to take little time and fill up the google form with ideas that you think can contribute to better living and let us all promise ourselves to contribute to sustainable living. Take initiatives to spread awareness on the same and let us know inputs. we appreciate inputs from al age groups and best ones will receive appreciation certificates.

 The event was conducted online using Google form




Received over 131 responses from people of various age groups ranging from 4th class students to retired persons.

 Responses were evaluated by the Renounced Environmentalist, FCI founder member and Vegan Shri Ravikanth Reddy Sathi. Following are the winnersand their suggestions

1. Angeline Maria Gomez - EPR concept is mentioned for plastic bottles - not novel idea, but a good thing, hope she is not aware of EPR


2. Agastya Nagumalli - Created a global project and funding is to be done by countries and ratio depends of the exploitation done by those countries.

 

3. Peela Dinny Abhiram - Flip-flops and Shoes made from algae can reduce plastic waste and saveMarinelife

4. Hamajoda Hamisu Bakasha - Cultural practices that are harmful to the environment and the planet earth should be abolished. and Overhauling of nations educational curriculum by interesting it with environment related topics

5. Sindhuja Krishna veni. Vajjala - Changing the plastic based system

 

6. Vanka Prameela - Reutilization or scrapping of old vehicles

 

All the participants received appreciation letters and winners received certificates
